…and all it got is this lousy update. But lets start from the beginning:
I‘m very pleased to announce that CoverSutra, my personal entry to the indie software scene, turned three years today. It‘s granted that a shiny new version 3.0 of CoverSutra would be a much better way to celebrate. But well, it looks like I got distracted by some iPhone app.
So instead I‘m releasing version 2.2.2, which fixes a rare crashing issue while showing the keyboard bezel.
If you‘re that particular guy with that issue: You‘re welcome!
I‘m sure you will agree that this lousy bugfix-release isn‘t a way to celebrate a birthday. So additionally CoverSutra will be on birthday sale for very iPhoneriffic $4.99!
This is your best chance to get a „valid“ license, you won‘t get it for a lower price anytime soon. But hurry, the sale ends this wednesday on January 27… just in time when Steve Jobs announces that Software as we know it today will be obsolete ;-)
Head over to
the Store to snatch your license today!
It‘s surprising how fast time runs by. Today CoverSutra already turns two years old. I can still clearly remember the evening when I prepared version 1.0 for the public release. Believe me, it was an absolutely horrible day for me, not knowing if CoverSutra‘s sales will allow me to stay independent or not and, more importantly, if the Mac crowd would accept CoverSutra. A certain french artist even described it as „suffering a stressed german girl“. Well, well …
Now to the less boring part of the post: CoverSutra 2.1.6 is available now and should fix quite some smaller bugs and odds. Head over to the product page to download the update, or use the Build-in software update if you‘re already running CoverSutra.
But what would be a birthday without presents? So just for today CoverSutra is available for free! Go to the Store to get one of the cheapest CoverSutra serial numbers ever! Yeah I know, you could also use a pirated serial, but that‘s bad for your Karma, right?
Update: The birthday party is over, we’re resuming to regular pricing ;-).
Happy Birthday Wish CoverSutra! Great app and...
