…and all it got is this lousy update. But lets start from the beginning:
I‘m very pleased to announce that CoverSutra, my personal entry to the indie software scene, turned three years today. It‘s granted that a shiny new version 3.0 of CoverSutra would be a much better way to celebrate. But well, it looks like I got distracted by some iPhone app.
So instead I‘m releasing version 2.2.2, which fixes a rare crashing issue while showing the keyboard bezel.
If you‘re that particular guy with that issue: You‘re welcome!
I‘m sure you will agree that this lousy bugfix-release isn‘t a way to celebrate a birthday. So additionally CoverSutra will be on birthday sale for very iPhoneriffic $4.99!
This is your best chance to get a „valid“ license, you won‘t get it for a lower price anytime soon. But hurry, the sale ends this wednesday on January 27… just in time when Steve Jobs announces that Software as we know it today will be obsolete ;-)
Congrats on the anniversary!
Congratulations! Can’t remember how long I’ve been using Coversutra, but it’s certainly a regular of whatever Mac I’m using at a time…
Thanks!!!
BEST. SOFTWARE. EVAR.
Congratulations on a fantastic application!
Well done :)
The Coversutra search keyboard shortcut on my Mac remains the most used and CS has not left my desktop since I got it. Thank you.
I think I’m “that particular guy with that issue”. Thanks for the update! :)
Great! Congratulations Sophia, but what ever happend to CoverSutra 2.5?
It basically went the Copland route. I progressed well, but it’s not ready for a release. At this point I’d rather put efforts into the all new 3.0 then releasing some half assed 2.5 in the meantime.
CoverSutra is awesome app! Congratulations!
Congratulations on the 3-year anniversary. I’m quite new to the mac and I’ve been using the CoverSutra demo for two days now and I was wondering exactly are the differences between the demo and the full version. I was looking for some information about the demo’s limitations but couldn’t find any information about it.
Three years already? Woaah, time flies… Still remember when a hag was yelling at me because it will never sell.. See Sophie, it worked, and you managed to be freelance! No need to thank me, and no need to share your billions, I’m fine with *your* success :-P ;-)
Happy birthday CoverSutra :)
There are no feature limitations during the trial period. However, after two weeks the app will only run up to an hour.
Erf… french humor :-|
Lovely! Congratulations on 3 wonderful years!
What a funny co-incidence, my trial ended today, and I was going to pay for it, and didn’t even realise that it cut just $4.99! I thought there was a mistake :P Thanks Sophie :)
Hi thanks for the update CoverSutra is great! But 2.2.2 does not open for me. After I remove the plist the register window appears, but when I click to enter my code it crashes? Any reason for this? Where can I download 2.2.1 for the meantime? Thanks.
Awesome it is Sophia !
Can’t wait to know what will Coversutra 3 made off.
And I expect to see much more applications by you !
Lovely, an admirator of Coversutra efficienceness ;D
Congrats. I LOVE CoverSutra! Keep up the great work.
I’m having the same issue as Richard. Crashed at startup (I’ve already emailed you the crash log). Deleted the preferences (and cache, etc), and now it crashes while trying to bring up the Registration panel.
Please. and I ask with the bottom of my heart. PLEASE, let us choose the menubar icon, I miss the heart so bad. and if it not too much to ask for, more eye candy options for the cover art will be great. I’m tired of using BowTie. Thanx
Could you please support OAuth? It’s not that I don’t trust you but it’s better to future proof your app. It doesn’t seem to get much love anymore though.
I would love “add to iTunes DJ/Play next in iTunes DJ” Keyboard shortcuts, maybe in version 3.0?
